The Rotary Club of Hopkinsville and its leadership announced the Rotary Impact program in 2022. The Rotary Impact program supports students with plans to pursue higher education for careers needed in the community. On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, members of Hopkinsville Rotary including Andrew Wilson, Kelly Gates, Penny Knight, Dr. Chris Boyett and Jennie Stuart Health President & CEO, Eric Lee came together to announce the third wing of this initiative: Rotary Impact Healthcare.

Under new leadership, Jennie Stuart Health’s Emergency Department began seeing patients in its new wing this morning. With improved patient access within a more efficient layout, additional capacity to serve patients, and state-of-the-art healthcare technology, an improved patient experience was the primary goal when designing the Jennie Stuart Health ER expansion.
