Jennie Stuart Health Imaging Services provides comprehensive, multi-modality diagnostic imaging. We offer a variety of technologies to provide consistent, high-quality imaging with in-house board certified radiologists to provide interpretations.
OUR PHILOSOPHY OF CARE
THE IMAGING SERVICES EXPERIENCE
Imaging Services have a team of specialty-trained and carefully-chosen technologists, registered nurses, and radiologists. Our team takes the time to explain the imaging process to the patients, as well as takes the extra steps to initiate comfort measures.
Diagnostic Radiology
We offer all general radiology procedures, including fluoroscopy (myelogram and urology exams) and bone density (DEXA) scans. Our diagnostic radiology departments feature state of the art "digital" technology with superior image quality that enhances productivity, patient comfort, and safety.
MAMMOGRAPHY
Mammography is the gold standard for breast cancer screening, providing women with a quick and painless way to detest abnormalities in their breasts. Our state-of-the-art 3D mammography units deliver high-quality images with unparalleled accuracy, allowing doctors to catch breast cancer in its early stages when treatment is most effective. Our 3D Mammogaphy services are affordable and accessible, making it easy for women to take control of their health and get screened for breast cancer on a regular basis. Ultrasound
Our departments offer multiple ultrasound suites accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR). We provide a full spectrum of diagnostic ultrasound procedures which include (but not limited to): abdominal, obstetrical and gynecological, breast, vascular and arterial examinations. We also provide a viewing monitor for fetal well-being exams for the expecting parents.
Cardiology
We offer high quality echocardiology transthoracic examinations. Additional services include electrocardiograms (ECG), 24-48 hour holter monitoring, cardiac stress testing, cardioversion and cardiac tilt table procedures.
Nuclear Medicine and PETCT
Our nuclear medicine unit offers a complete spectrum of nuclear medicine studies, including those for the bones, liver, spleen, the heart and the gastrointestinal tract.
The positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PETCT) unit conducts studies for staging and re-staging patients in preparation for cancer treatment. We now offer specialized prostate and neuroendocrine tumor PETCT scans!
CT Scan
Jennie Stuart Health offers the latest CT technology to provide services for the use of helical full body imaging. This permits high quality imaging with shorter scan times for our patients, and having three CT scanners between our two locations. These scanners produce high quality imaging with fast reconstruction time and low radiation dose to our patients.
