The Kentucky Department for Public Health (KDPH) is actively responding to the COVID-19 situation. This respiratory disease was first detected in a Kentucky resident on March 6, 2020. As of March 9, 2020, there is four confirmed cases in Kentucky, two in Harrison Co., one in Fayette Co., and one in Jefferson Co. Current state guidance suggests individuals over 60 years old and those with co-morbidities (Heart disease, Diabetes, Lung disease, Kidney failure) to be at higher risk for contracting illnesses.

Jennie Stuart Health won a series of awards in the Kentucky Society of Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing Fall 2019 conference!
