Doctor Bio

Dr. Horton was born and raised in small rural town in southern Indiana. Growing up he developed a passion for science, the outdoors, and sports. After winning a state championship in baseball his senior year of high school, he went on to attend Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). He majored in biochemistry and graduated with a 4.0 GPA and Highest Distinction. Following this, he obtained his MD at New York University School of Medicine, now ranked the #2 medical school by U.S News and World Report. In addition to his studies, Dr. Horton spent a significant amount of time during medical school conducting high impact scientific research.

Following medical school, he completed his Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery training at the Medical University of South Carolina, one of the top-ranked programs in the country. Also known as Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT), this specialty is one of the most competitive in medicine. During training, Dr. Horton acted as primary surgeon on nearly 3000 procedures, while continuing to participate in medical research and authoring numerous publications.

Dr. Horton’s arrival brings much-needed ENT care to the Christian, Todd, and Trigg county communities. He has a special interest in treating the full breadth of adult and pediatric ENT conditions. He has additional training in minimally invasive balloon sinuplasty and salivary endoscopy. Dr. Horton provides care for the following issues:
