Jennie Stuart Medical Center provides quality healthcare to all patients regardless of their ability to pay. Discounts are offered based on family size and annual income. For more information, ask at the front desk or visit our website.
Consistent with its mission to commitment to excellence in service and accommodation to the growing healthcare needs of our community, Jennie Stuart Medical Center is committed to providing affordable care to individuals who have a household income below 400% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) Guidelines. The 501R Financial Assistance Policy applies to the following JSMC facility locations:
Individuals eligible for financial assistance under this
policy shall not be charged more than the amounts generally billed (AGB) to
individuals who have insurance. This value shall be calculated using the
“look-back” method based on actual paid claims from Medicare
fee-for-service and private health insurers.

Rural Health Clinic patients may qualify for a sliding fee scale discount. The Rural Health Clinic (RHC) Financial Assistance Policy applies to the following JSMC RHC facility locations:
Jennie Stuart Medical Center’s Financial Assistance policies and applications are available to patients in English and Spanish. These documents are available free of charge at all facility locations or by mail. These documents can be requested by contacting Jennie Stuart Medical Center Financial Counselors at 270-887-0332 or by mailing your request to Jennie Stuart Medical Center Financial Counseling, P.O. Box 2400, Hopkinsville, KY 42240. Financial Counselors are available Monday through Friday, from 8:00am until 4:30pm to discuss the application process at (270) 887-0332.
