Hopkinsville, KY – The Jennie Stuart Health Foundation announces the retirement of Executive Director,
Tracey Clark and the appointment of Sarah Francis as the Foundation’s new Executive Director.
Tracey was recruited to lead the newly established Foundation in September 2018. She is credited with the
Foundation’s structure and building strong community support.
“I am honored to have been a part of the Foundation since its inception, and I am extremely proud of the work we have done to support the patients, care providers and services of Jennie Stuart Health. I am humbled by and deeply appreciative of the trust placed in me by the Foundation Board and hospital leadership. Most importantly, I will always be grateful for the tremendous outpouring of support received from this community that has impacted so many lives,” said Clark.
During her tenure, Clark has cultivated strong donor relationships that have greatly benefited Jennie Stuart Medical Center, led a successful capital campaign, and established an endowment of nearly $1 million to support cancer care.
“Tracey demonstrated her belief and commitment to staff and patients every day of her service, and both the Foundation and Jennie Stuart Medical Center have been blessed by her leadership,” said Tracey Carter Williams, Foundation Board Chairman. “We are profoundly grateful for her many years of excellence.”
Williams added, “Just as Tracey Clark was the right leader seven years ago, the Board is confident that the right person to guide us now and into the future is Sarah Francis. Sarah’s promotion reflects our belief in her passion for the Foundation’s mission and her commitment to advancing our important work.”
Francis brings six years of impactful service to the Foundation, where she has been a driving force in program development, donor engagement, and strategic initiatives.
“Knowing that I am leaving this organization in the capable hands of Sarah Francis, I can step away with the confidence that the Foundation will continue to grow and successfully expand its reach into the future,” said Clark.
A Hopkinsville native, Francis, steps into the Executive Director role with a clear focus on furthering the
Foundation’s mission.
“It is an incredible honor to step into this new role and continue serving a community I care so deeply about,” Francis said. “The Foundation has made a meaningful and lasting impact, and I look forward to carrying that legacy forward with purpose, passion, and vision.”
Clark’s retirement is effective on August 29, 2025, and Francis will officially assume her new role on August
24, 2025.
